How to See Jesus

I was sixteen when I had an encounter with Jesus, on the cross. I was taken, in the spirit, to the very real, foot of the cross. I was in a vision, yet it was more real than the skin on my bones.
I was on my hands and knees, like a dog, before Jesus and could see where the cross and the ground merged. The wailing and weeping all around me vibrated in my very soul and my flesh was crying out loud.
The guards. I could see the Roman guards feet moving to and fro with nervousness. The daylight had grown dark and the weightiness of God hovered so much so, that I could not at any time lift my head to view anything above the nailed, bloody feet of Jesus.
I attempted to lift my head several times and could never see more than the feet of my Lord, shaking and beaten. Yes, even his feet were tore. Then, I saw the blood of the Lord move down his ankle and drip off his second toe to the ground.
When the blood hit the earth, the loudest and most frightening “CRACK” destroyed the very atmosphere. All were shaken to the ground. No one could even function.
Then, as Jesus spoke His last words to the Father, His Spirit left Him. It was then, I could look up and see.
I looked and saw, all of creation, heaven and earth and all it’s heavenly witness’, the angels even the demons were there. Everyone and everything that was, is and was to come (in my case) was there when Jesus was crucified.
I recall this 22 years later to tell you this…
At 16 years of age, I asked “Father, I want to see your Son.” I asked and He replied. That encounter impacted my heart to such a level that it has shaped my life to this day. Seeing the moment when, “It is finished”, was just the beginning.
